Radio Frequency

Radio frequency skin tightening (RF) is an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin.

Radio frequency helps the skin look younger by safely heating up the deep collagen rich layers of skin. The heat helps tighten existing collagen and stimulates the formation of new collagen. This reduces sagging, renews contours, and improves the smoothness and texture of the skin’s surface.

All about Radio Frequency

As well as improvement of cellulite & line & wrinkles. Radio frequency technology delivers a gentle heat to the skin using high frequency waves. This relaxing treatment boosts the skins collagen production by up to 20%. A favourite amongst celebrities, with the likes of Kylie, and Amanda Holden turning to the powers of this non-invasive treatment.

Suitable for the face, chin, neck, legs, bottom, tummy, upper arms & the sides of the back. This is a great standalone treatment, or it can be performed alongside Ultrasound Cavitation.

What is radio frequency?

Radio Frequency is a safe, non-surgical, non-invasive treatment which tightens slack loose skin around the face, including under the eyes, jawline, chin and neck areas and reduces fine lines and wrinkles to look softer, resulting in a younger looking skin. It can be used on the body to tighten a tummy area after children or extreme weight loss.

What does it do?

The treatment delivers a special form of radio frequency that works deep into the layers of the skin, reaching 2mm and 9mm and causes no damage to the top layer of the skin.

The treatment reduces the signs of ageing and gives you younger, healthier looking skin with no need for surgery.

The treatment firms, lifts and tightens loose skin by thickening and stimulating new collagen, Collagen helps plump out the skin and reduces fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck areas as well as skin tightening for body areas.

How does it work?

The radio frequency waves penetrate to the dermis resulting in contraction of collagen and the regeneration of collagen fibers. This increase in collagen leads to skin tightening on the face and body resulting in the gradual decrease in wrinkles and tightening of the skin on the face and neck areas.
The contraction of the collagen means an immediate change in skin appearance. The production of new collagen leads to an ongoing change in skin appearance. The result of this collagen boost is tighter, younger looking skin.

When can I see the results?

You will notice a slight change in your skin immediately after the first treatment and will continue to improve after each subsequent treatment. Lax skin will be firmer and more toned, not to mention healthier and younger looking, and wrinkles will be considerably reduced. You should start to see improvement in your skin following the second treatment and additional improvement will gradually appear as the treatment course progresses.

As new healthier collagen is formed, tighter, more natural looking and firmer skin will be produced. The gradual improvement in your skin will continue even after the completion of your course.

How many treatments will i need?

We recommend a series of 8 treatments about one week apart, with the best effect being seen two months following the final treatment. Dependent on the number and how deep the lines and wrinkle are, is dependent on the number of treatments required.
Many clients like to have monthly treatments as a preventative to aging and to keep their face looking it’s best.

On what parts of my body will benefit most from radio frequency?

Radio frequency can be used for lifting and skin tightening on many body areas including face, jawline, chin & neck areas including underneath and above the eyes, and for saggy brow lines.
On the body areas - upper arms, abdomen, back, thighs, hips and buttocks, ankles, male chest.
It is great for tightening tummies after having babies.

What is the downtime?

There is no downtime and the results are gradual, so no one will guess you have had treatment.

Is it painful?

No, there a feeling of slight heat. The radio frequency will reach temperatures of up to 40 Degrees Celsius, and this will be monitored throughout the session to limit any fluctuations. Patients can expect zero discomfort during the session with only a little redness around the treatment session.
